One counter. One billion beers.
There is a single number. Every beer anyone posts, anywhere, adds one to it. Nobody owns it and nobody wins it.
How it works
Open the camera, take a photo of the beer in front of you, and the number goes up by one. That is the entire product. There are no filters, because your beer looks fine. There is no library picker, because the beer is in front of you.
Why there are no scores
No followers, no leaderboards, no personal totals to defend. The only number that exists is the shared one, which means the person on their first beer and the person on their four hundredth are doing exactly the same job.
Why the counter never shows a billion
A bar filling toward one billion would be a tenth of one percent full for years, which tells you nothing. So the app always plays against the next power of ten: 87 of 100, then 1,000, then 10,000. The billion is the promise. The next hundred is the game.
